Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain SAP BO reports dashboards and universes (IDT/UDT).
Write and optimize complex SQL queries stored procedures and joins across multiple data sources.
Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and manage data models and BO Universes to support self-service reporting.
Ensure report performance accuracy and alignment with business KPIs.
Conduct unit testing UAT support and production deployment of reports.
Collaborate with database administrators and data warehouse teams to ensure data consistency and integrity.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report generation performance or data mismatches.

Must Have Technical Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in SAP BusinessObjects (Web Intelligence IDT/UDT Universe Design Crystal Reports).
Expert-level SQL skills ability to write analyze and optimize complex SQL queries.
Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
Good understanding of data warehousing concepts ETL processes and reporting best practices.
Knowledge of joins subqueries CTEs and performance tuning in SQL.
Familiarity with report scheduling distribution and security setup in BO.

Nice to Have Skills:

Exposure to Power BI Tableau or other visualization tools.
Experience with data modeling and semantic layer design.
Understanding of cloud-based databases (e.g. Snowflake AWS Redshift Azure SQL).
Scripting or automation knowledge (Python/Shell scripting) is a plus.
