About the Role
Youll develop a mixed caseload of transactional non-contentious and contentious employment work working alongside colleagues across multiple office locations. Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic & Advisory Work
- Providing comprehensive HR advice and support to employer clients
- Drafting service agreements contracts of employment staff handbooks and policies
- Advising on employee terminations redundancies restructuring and settlement agreements
- Managing disciplinary procedures and internal investigations
- Advising on TUPE matters and boardroom disputes
Contentious & Transactional
- Representing clients in employment tribunal and court proceedings (unfair dismissal wrongful dismissal discrimination claims)
- Supporting corporate transactions with employment due diligence and TUPE advice
- Delivering training seminars and legal updates
Business Development
- Demonstrating strong business development and marketing skills
- Contributing to the firms social media and thought leadership initiatives
- Building and growing client relationships
About You
Youll be a qualified Solicitor CILEX or FILEX member with:
Essential Experience & Skills
- 5 years post-qualification experiencein employment law
- Strong technical knowledge of employment law with proven ability to deliver profitable work
- Excellent client care skills and commitment to service excellence
- Proven track record of developing and growing client relationships
- Experience acting for employers on a wide range of matters
