The Institute of Railway Technology (IRT) at Monash University is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design and delivery of high-performance scalable data systems powering real-time condition monitoring across rail networks in Australia and internationally.
This is a professional (non-academic) role central to IRTs research and training initiatives. Youll develop tailored IT solutions support client projects and collaborate with Monash IT teams to ensure system performance security and alignment with cybersecurity standards. This role cannot be performed remotely as it requires close collaboration with rail industry clients
