The University Advancement team has an opening for Student Annual Fund Assistant. As a student employed for the Advancement team your job will be varied and require you to be a self-motivated. This is a paid student employment position.
Responsibilities:
- Make calls to alumni and donors asking for donations (50% of time)
- Help with advancement mailings including writing thank you notes stuffing and addressing envelopes (25% of time)
- Record thank you videos for donors (10% of time)
- Update University Advancement Database (5% of time)
- Help plan and executive alumni and advancement events including but not limited to brainstorming themes creating decorations securing auction items assisting with day of logistics (5% of time)
- Light administrative duties filing etc. (5% of time)
Requirements:- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be a current Newman University student enrolled full-time
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer service oriented/client focus a must
- Self-motivated
- Discretion with sensitive and private information
Number of hours per week: 10-15
Days and Times needed:Hours are varied with student and supervisor working together to create students schedule. Some nights and weekends on occasion.
Rate of pay: $10.00
