Role Overview:
The Brand Manager plays a key role in driving brand growth and strengthening market presence across multiple channels. The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing strategies executing campaigns and leading initiatives that build awareness drive trial and encourage repeat purchase.
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded marketer who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution able to translate insights into impactful brand activities engage consumers through relevant storytelling and work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver commercial results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of annual brand plans ensuring strategic alignment with business goals and efficient allocation of A&P budgets.
- Define clear objectives track performance and adjust plans to maximize impact.
- Manage integrated marketing efforts across ATL BTL and digital channels to strengthen brand equity and conversion.
- Collaborate with agencies and creative partners to produce engaging high-quality content and campaigns.
- Develop and execute in-store visibility programs sampling and retail activations that enhance brand presence and shopper engagement.
- Partner with the sales team to optimize assortment pricing and display execution.
- Drive online brand performance through effective marketplace management CRM initiatives and digital promotions.
- Monitor key metrics such as conversion retention and ratings/reviews.
- Support new product introductions with launch strategies marketing toolkits and post-launch performance reviews.
- Build scalable playbooks for future brand and category expansions.
- Utilize research and data dashboards to evaluate performance identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
- Translate insights into actionable next steps for marketing and commercial teams.
- Guide and mentor junior team members to develop marketing capabilities.
- Manage relationships with agencies and partners to ensure delivery of high-quality on-time and on-budget work.
Requirements
- Experienced Brand Managee with 510 years leading brand and communication initiatives in fast-paced consumer industries
- Proven track record in brand planning A&P management and agency leadership.
- Strong balance of strategic creative and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions.
- Fluent in Bahasa Melayu and English; able to localize communication effectively.
- Results-driven proactive and adaptable with a growth mindset.
- Experience in shopper marketing category launches or family/kids segment.
- Exposure to testing and scaling new initiatives such as product pilots digital activations or creator partnerships.
