Core duties and responsibilities

Instruction and lesson planning:
Create and deliver engaging lessons on acting techniques script analysis improvisation and stagecraft. They may also introduce students to diverse playwrights and theatrical traditions.
Production and performance:
Organize and direct all aspects of theater productions including casting directing rehearsals and coordinating set design costumes and technical elements.
Curriculum development:
Design develop and adapt drama curriculum frameworks and materials to be age-appropriate for students of various levels.
Student development:
Mentor students provide individualized coaching to improve skills and encourage creativity confidence and self-expression.
Assessment and feedback:
Evaluate student work and provide timely and targeted feedback to help them improve their performance and understanding.
Collaboration:
Work with other teachers artists and community partners on interdisciplinary projects and cross-curricular activities.
Facility management:
Maintain the schools theater facilities and technical equipment.
