About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Business Development Executive to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for building scalable backend services integrating with databases and APIs and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Lead Management
Focus primarily on inbound leads with the ability to identify and prioritize high-potential prospects.
Support outbound outreach efforts (preferred but not mandatory).
Ensure you engage the right prospects through research and qualification.
Client Outreach & Engagement
Initiate and nurture conversations with prospects to understand business needs and project objectives.
Build rapport and trust with clients via timely personalized and value-driven communication.
Manage reminders and follow-ups diligently to keep leads warm and moving through the funnel.
Proposal Creation & Coordination
Create and send 3-4 customized proposals daily working closely with internal teams to tailor content.
Develop pitch decks presentations and RFP responses aligned with client requirements and company capabilities.
Meetings & Consultative Selling
Schedule and conduct discovery calls demos and meetings with domestic and international clients.
Lead consultative sales discussions to recommend solutions and close deals.
Sales Pipeline & CRM Management
Own the sales lifecycle from lead qualification to onboarding.
Maintain accurate records and track deal progress using CRM platforms (Zoho HubSpot Pipedrive).
Conversion & Revenue Generation
Follow up rigorously with qualified leads to drive closure.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for client acquisition proposals and deals closed.
Negotiate pricing and terms with a client-first approach.
Market Research & Feedback
Stay updated on industry trends competitors and emerging tech including AI tools.
Provide feedback to optimize outreach proposal quality and service offerings.
Networking & Brand Representation
Represent Engineer Babu at networking events webinars and virtual meetups.
Qualifications:
3 to 4 years of experience in business development or sales preferably in IT services
Basic technical understanding especially in AI tools and software services
Strong communication negotiation and organizational skills
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
Ability to manage multiple proposals daily while maintaining quality and personalization
Proactive follow-up and reminder management. Actively contribute to online communities forums and social platforms to increase brand visibility and attract inbound interest.
Must Have:
Bachelors degree
13 years of experience in business development lead generation or inside sales (preferably in IT services)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding of outbound sales strategies and client engagement
Proficiency in tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator CRM systems or email automation is an advantage
