Enterprise FP&A Intern

The JM Family College Internship Program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. As part of this program you will actively contribute to your teams success learn about JM Familys companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities networking events and much more.

The ideal candidate will be available to work full-time during the Summer Internship Program (May 26th 2026 - July 31st 2026).

Interns will engage in meaningful work and gain insights into specific projects or tasks providing hands-on experience and contributing to various department initiatives. They will learn about JM Familys culture including our core values: Consideration Cooperation Communication Innovation and Accountability. As part of our Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team youll play an active role in analyzing financial and operational performance developing and enhancing financial models and using technology to improve decision-making across JM Familys diverse business units. This internship is ideal for students who want to blend finance analytics and innovation in a real-world setting.

In this role you will gain hands-on experience with enterprise-level financial systems and analytical tools such as Excel Power BI and EPM. You will also have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge AI applications in finance contributing to JM Familys ongoing digital transformation. Through professional mentorship and networking with finance and technology leaders youll expand your skills while making meaningful contributions to strategic planning forecasting and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Support Financial Modeling and Analysis: Assist in consolidating P&L balance sheet and cash flow reporting and forecasts; perform variance and trend analysis; and help deliver actionable insights to leadership.
• Build Power BI Dashboards: Develop and refine visualizations that make complex financial data accessible and engaging supporting cross-functional decision-making.
• Explore AI and Automation in Finance: Collaborate on prototypes and tools (e.g. predictive analytics or automated forecasting) that make our FP&A processes smarter and faster.

Qualifications:

• Actively enrolled in a bachelors or masters degree program in Finance Accounting Economics Data Analytics Business Analytics or related field.
• Completed at least one semester of coursework.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Excel; familiarity with Power BI Python or SQL is a plus.
• Curiosity collaboration and a drive to learn.
