Private LTE and 5G Core Solutions Architect
Location: Dallas TX (Hybrid 3 days onsite required)
Contract: 12-18 months with potential for extensions
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Private LTE and 5G Core Solutions Architect to lead the design testing and delivery of a private telecom cloud solution1. This role is ideal for a senior engineer with deep experience in LTE and 5G core networks and a strong track record delivering end-to-end telecom architectures for regional carriers or utilities.

Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science required; Masters preferred.
- 10 years in 4G/5G core network design and engineering (EPC 5G NSA/SA).
- Strong background in cloud computing virtualization and software-defined networking (SDN).
- Expert in 3GPP interfaces network protocols and subscriber provisioning (CAI3G).
- Experience with home-routed LTE roaming; familiarity with MC-PTT is a plus.
- Excellent communication documentation and collaboration skills.
- Certifications in LTE/5G Core cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) or network/security are a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and document High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level (LLD) architectures for EPC and 5G Core systems.
- Lead cross-functional integration with IP cybersecurity and infrastructure teams.
- Develop Acceptance Test Plans (ATP) and execute solution validation and troubleshooting.
- Engineer and manage private and roaming SIM profiles; enable network sharing (MOCN MORAN home-routed roaming).
- Participate in vendor selection security reviews and compliance activities.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise on complex network design and implementation issues.
