Job Summary

Pay Range:

$21.00 - $31.50

A successful candidates actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience skills training certifications and education.

HSHS is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to assist with some aspects of the credentialing processes file development and completion. Performs certain activities related to credentialing and re-credentialing including but not limited to the timely processing of all paperwork and applications necessary to obtain privileges and ensuring that a healthcare facility and its staffs credentials meet government and accrediting agency standards. Assists with the credentialing privileging and scheduling of physicians and clinicians at various local entity locations. Supports effective physician and allied health professional PPE processes.

Schedule: Full time 40 hours/week Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30
Facility: Hybrid Position Springfield (Covers St. Francis Litchfield and Good Shepherd Shelbyville.)

INTERNET SPEED REQUIREMENTS:

Latency/Ping must be under 100 ms. (Under 60 ms is preferred.)
Education Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree Health Care Administration or related field is preferred.
Experience Qualifications
  • 1 years clerical experience is required.
  • 1 years of experience in healthcare is preferred.
  • 1 years of Hospital Credentialing or Payor Credentialing experience is preferred.
