Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of Work

The clinical nurse under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nursing and Operational Leadership according to Beaumont policies and procedures within an ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

Required Associates Degree or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associates degree or equivalent.
Preferred Bachelors Degree B.S.N or M.S.N or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years. This is effective April 18 2023.

2 years of relevant experience acute care nursing experience Required

LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATEMI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
CRT-At least one Certification from preferred list - UNKNOWN Unknown Upon Hire required
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association department specific Upon Hire required
CRT-Specialty Certification - UNKNOWN Unknown department specialty Upon Hire preferred
