The Diplomat Beach Resort Curio by Hilton is looking for aPurchasing Managerto join their team!
This stunning 1000 room oceanfront resort is the perfect getaway with two beachside pools a Dip & Slide splash pad for kids and 1000 linear feet of alabaster beach. Savor stunning views delicious dining options and endless sunshine in Hollywood Florida. Our 5 team members report to the Director of Purchasing.
The ideal candidate holds 2 years experience in a supervisory or management role within hotel purchasing/receiving. Prior Food & Beverage experience a plus! Experience working in larger hotels preferred.
Shift Pattern: Full Availability - Monday-Saturday between the hours of 6AM-7PM

What will I be doing
- Plans organizes and inventories general merchandise items.
- Communicates with Chef and management relative to purchases consistent with hotel needs and specifications.
- Negotiates pricing and purchase goods and ensure delivery in a timely manner.
- Review shipments to ensure products received are consistent with orders and proper grade and quality.
- Interviews trains supervises counsels schedules and evaluates staff.
