In this role you will lead the hotels training initiatives ensuring alignment with brand standards and operational policies. You will develop engaging learning resources implement growth frameworks and uphold excellence in stakeholder engagement. Collaborating closely with the Director of Human Resources you will play a pivotal role in building a dynamic Learning & Development function that supports the growth and success of every team member.

What will I be doing

As the Learning & Development Manager you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Training Program Design & Delivery

Skilled in developing comprehensive training programs tailored to the unique needs of various hotel departments ensuring alignment with operational goals and brand standards.

Proficient in crafting engaging results-driven learning materials using diverse instructional methodologies to enhance knowledge retention and application.

Exceptional presentation and facilitation abilities with a confident and dynamic approach to delivering impactful training sessions across all levels of the organization.

Needs Assessment & Analysis

Demonstrated expertise in conducting comprehensive Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify skill gaps and align learning initiatives with departmental and organizational goals.

Skilled in evaluating performance data to measure the effectiveness of training programs and uncover opportunities for continuous improvement.

Leadership & Management

Proven ability to lead and inspire teams fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.

Strong track record of partnering with department heads and senior leadership to align learning and development strategies with broader business objectives.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities with a talent for conveying information clearly confidently and professionally across all levels of the organization.

Adept at building strong collaborative relationships with team members and stakeholders fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Project Management

Proficient in planning executing and overseeing training initiatives within defined timelines and budget parameters ensuring seamless delivery and measurable outcomes.

Skilled in resource allocation and coordination to support the successful implementation of learning programs across departments.

Technology & E-Learning

Well-versed in utilizing a variety of e-learning platforms and digital tools to deliver engaging and accessible online training experiences.

Skilled in leveraging technology to enhance learning outcomes monitor progress and support continuous development across all levels of the organization.

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

Skilled in assessing the effectiveness of training programs through structured feedback performance metrics and post-training evaluations.

Committed to enhancing learning initiatives by integrating feedback analyzing outcomes and applying industry best practices to ensure ongoing improvement and relevance.

Industry Knowledge

Comprehensive understanding of the hospitality sector with insights into current trends operational challenges and best practices that inform strategic learning and development initiatives.

Well-versed in industry regulations and standards ensuring all training programs are compliant and aligned with legal and brand requirements.

A Learning & Development Manager serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you should maintain the attitudebehaviours skills and values that follow:

Proven experience in learning and development or training roles preferably in the hospitality industry. Experience in a prestigious luxury hotel is advantageous.

Experience in hotel pre-opening projects is highly valued showcasing strategic planning capabilities and the flexibility to navigate dynamic operational environments.

Strong knowledge of training methodologies instructional design principles and learning management systems.

Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with and engage diverse audiences across all levels.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and training-related software to support program development and delivery.

Skilled in analyzing performance data and translating insights into targeted results-driven learning solutions.

Flexible and resilient with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic hospitality environment.
