Job Summary

Job Overview

The Carwash Service Technician is responsible for the installation maintenance and repair of car wash equipment. This role ensures equipment operates efficiently and safely minimizing downtime and keeping our customers running. It requires hands-on technical ability strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety and quality service.

Shift and Schedule

Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm with occasional on-call weekends required.

Compensation

$28-$32 per hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Perform inspections routine service and preventative maintenance on car wash systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic issues.
Troubleshoot wash system problems quickly to reduce downtime.
Install adjust and calibrate new equipment and replacement parts.
Maintain accurate repair and service documentation.
Respond promptly to breakdowns and service calls as needed.
Monitor and repair chemical delivery systems including pumps hoses and valves.
Follow all safety standards and company procedures.
Partner with management to schedule service and maintenance.
Provide basic equipment training and guidance to staff.

Qualifications

Previous experience in mechanical and electrical repair; car wash or similar equipment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals schematics and wiring diagrams.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs. and working outdoors in various conditions.
Valid drivers license with a good driving record.
Strong commitment to safety attention to detail and reliability.
Control wiring experience is a plus.
