We are looking for a Production Team manager who will lead our Upstream production department consisting of11people (Operators and Manufacturing Coordinator). In the upstream area we are operating 85 3000 L fermenters and matching recovery equipment and operators are working 2-3 shifts for 5 days a week. We are producing 25different growth factors or affinity ligands.

Thepositionis a part of our Manufacturing departmentand the reporting line is to theourDirector Manufacturing.

The Production Team Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Supervise and support a team of 11operators ensuring compliance with procedures and safety standards and promoting open communication.
• Review and develop batch documentation.
• Plan and assign shifts and tasks adjust resources to meet targets and monitor workflows.
• Lead investigations into deviations report results and implement corrective actions.
• Promote continuous improvement by applying Lean tools and identifying process enhancements.
• Coordinate with quality maintenance and logistics teams to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.
• Oversee operator onboarding and training to ensure current knowledge of safety quality and technical skills aiming to increase cross-training.
• Work with the Director of Manufacturing on department budget and goals and manage goal setting performance and salary reviews.

The Successful Production Team manager will have the following background:

Technical or Science oriented bachelors or masters degree

Several years people management experience in chemical processing.

Life-science sector knowledge especially microbial fermentation and regulated biotech preferred.

Analytical adaptable and excels in fast-paced settings.

Strong communication change managementfluent in Swedish proficient in English.

Proven leadership and motivational abilities with a proactive collaborative style and experience from continuous improvement work.

Experiencefromworking withSAP andElectronic Batch Records is an advantage.
