Summary
The Production Analyst plays a key role in maintaining accurate and efficient production operations through detailed data management and scheduling support. Working closely with the Plant Manager this position ensures that bills of materials (BOMs) production tickets and scheduling data are accurate up to date and aligned with current production requirements. While primarily office-based this role occasionally requires time on the production floor or in the warehouse to gather information verify data or troubleshooting issues related to materials equipment or production reporting.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Review verify and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the ERP system to ensure data accuracy and version control.
- Create issue and track production tickets in coordination with the Plant Manager and Production Supervisor.
- Assist with production scheduling ensuring optimal use of resources and equipment.
- Validate material usage batch records and inventory data against ERP entries.
- Conduct periodic audits and cross-checks of ERP data with physical production and warehouse records.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to reconcile discrepancies and improve workflow accuracy.
- Generate and analyze production-related reports to support planning and decision-making.
- Maintain digital documentation and ensure all production records meet internal and regulatory compliance standards.
- Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities related to production data and scheduling.
Qualifications :
Qualification requirements
- In office attendance is required in Joliet Illinois - this is not a remote position
High School diploma or equivalent required - Bachelors degree preferred in Business Supply Chain or a related field
- 1-2 yrs previous experience in inventory manufacturing production planning or data analysis
- Proficiency with ERP systems are a plus
- Good communication problem-solving organizational time management & mathematical skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word) and Gmail
