As a Field Service Engineer at GE Medical Systems (Thailand) Ltd. you will be responsible for the installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of a wide range of GE medical imaging equipment and other healthcare technology within Thailand ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. You will support repair and maintain of Diagnostic Imaging Systems such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT).

Job Description
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation commissioning and validation of GE Medical Systems products including but not limited to MRI CT X-Ray Ultrasound
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance (PM) according to established schedules and procedures to maximize equipment uptime and extend asset life.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues both remotely and on-site using schematics diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Execute corrective maintenance (CM) and repairs replacing faulty components and ensuring equipment returns to full operational status.
- Provide technical support and training to clinical users on equipment operation basic troubleshooting and safety protocols.
- Document all service activities including installations maintenance repairs and customer interactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage spare parts inventory tools and test equipment efficiently ensuring availability for service calls.
- Adhere to all GE Medical Systems and local regulatory safety quality and compliance standards.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships acting as a trusted technical advisor and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in continuous learning and training programs to stay updated on new products technologies and service procedures.
- Collaborate with sales applications and technical support teams to resolve complex customer issues.
- Be available for on-call duties and travel extensively throughout Thailand as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in field service preferably with medical imaging equipment (e.g. MRI CT X-Ray) or other complex medical devices.
- Strong technical aptitude with proven ability to diagnose troubleshoot and repair electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with network protocols software troubleshooting and computer hardware.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical individuals.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Fluent in Thai and proficient in English (both written and spoken).
- Possession of a valid Thai drivers license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various clinical environments.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Thailand and work flexible hours including on-call rotations.
