Position Summary:
We are seeking a driven HR Officer to join our HR team. This role is pivotal in supporting employees across Europe and the US driving strategic HR initiatives and ensuring operational excellence in payroll and employee relations across our European and US entities.
You will report to the HR Manager EMA in Belgium.
This role will support employees across Europe and North & South America.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Support with talent acquisition onboarding learning & development offboarding in collaboration with the HR team.
- HR administration support: employment contracts fleet management welfare pensions...
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and support change management efforts.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across regions: Europe and North & South America.
- Collaborate with Finance and legal teams on cross-border employment matters.
- Prepare monthly payroll reports and coordinate payroll operations across all European entities ensuring compliance with local labor laws and internal standards.
- Support local site HR activities in collaboration with the site manager.
- Main contact for HR-related questions from employees of our Italian entities.
- Maintain HRIS (UKG) and employee files.
- Many other HR Projects as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications
- Approximately 3 years of HR experience ideally in an international matrix environment.
- Solid understanding of Italian employment regulations knowledge of other European legislation is a nice to have; we will teach you what you need to know.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Italian; additional European languages are a plus.
- Experience and fluency with Office 365.
- Comfortable working across multiple countries and time zones.
- High level of maturity discretion and independence.
- Nice to have is affinity with Software AI and R&D.
