The Head of Digital Growth Squad leads a transversal community of Digital Solutions Sales Specialists dedicated to accelerating the adoption and sales of SBSs modern offerings Digital Banking Suite Digital Account Opening Digital Lending Digital Payments (e.g. Wero) Open Banking along with the upcoming bank-specific AI solutions.
This role focuses on coaching coordination and enablement not hierarchy. The mission is to ensure that all specialists while anchored in their country sales organizations operate as a single high-performing global team sharing knowledge playbooks and competitive insight to win more consistently against niche digital competitors.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Community Animation
- Lead coach and inspire the Digital Growth Squad to operate as a single high-performing team across countries.
- Instill a culture of collaboration sharing and learning across geographies.
- Drive adoption of modern sales practices playbooks and competitive tactics.
Sales Execution & Deal Acceleration
- Support country teams in closing strategic deals acting as senior sales escalation for key opportunities when required.
- Partner closely with Sales leaders and their account managers to develop winning sales strategies and strengthen executive relationships with clients.
- Coordinate presales bid management and product teams around complex digital opportunities to ensure a seamless and compelling value proposition.
Strategy & Go-to-Market Leadership
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Digital & AI offerings in EMEA ensuring alignment with the corporate strategy and in collaboration with the Product Business Unit in charge of the product lines.
- Monitor market trends client needs and competitor activities to refine positioning and messaging.
- Drive pipeline development through targeted campaigns partnerships and customer engagement programs.
- Coordinate with Regional Sales Leaders to align priorities pipeline coverage and resource allocation.
Enablement & Knowledge Sharing
- Develop and maintain digital sales playbooks competitive battlecards and reference cases.
- Facilitate knowledge exchange across countries and teams through regular squad meetings win/loss reviews and internal showcases.
- Capture field insights and feed them back to Product and Marketing teams to improve go-to-market effectiveness.

Profile & Experience
- Passionate and driven seeking success and growth
- Senior experience in enterprise software sales ideally within banking or fintech sectors.
- Proven success in leading or coordinating multi-country sales initiatives.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation SaaS models and modern banking solutions.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into execution.
- Excellent influencing skills; able to lead without direct authority.
- Fluent in English; French or other European languages are a plus.
Success Metrics (KPIs)
- Growth of digital and AI solution bookings and pipeline.
- Improvement in win rates against niche digital competitors.
- Customer satisfaction in strategic opportunities supported by the squad.
