Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Contract Administration Sr. Manager to work in its offices in Panama.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates and provides review administration and/or compliance activities for complex contracts that may require more coordination with multiple entities requiring further legal reviews etc.
  • Leads researchers on contractual issues and administering law department activities
  • Provides guidance on contractual matters
  • Responsibilities may include updating the company law library with current changes in legislation and keeping management and staff informed on legislative developments and court actions that impact the company.
  • Works under limited supervision.
  • Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
  • Prepare and assist in various levels of project reporting. Key contributor in the preparation of monthly status report.
  • Coordination with AECOMs operations management team
  • Serve as a key participant in client and/or subcontractor negotiations.
  • Prepare and assist in various levels of project reporting. Key contributor in the preparation of the monthly status report.
  • Oversees the administration of all elements of contractual terms and conditions from proposal stage through contract close-out and audit. 
  • Directly and through subordinates assists all departments in developing contracts within company policies. 
  • Examines estimates and delivery schedules. 
  • Prepares bids process specifications test and progress reports and other exhibits that may be required. 
  • Negotiates complex contracts on large projects customers or bidders. 
  • Manages a team of contract administrators. 
  • Serves as group/department or technical lead.

Qualifications :

Minimum requirements:

  • Law graduate with 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education including 2 years of leadership

Desirable Requirements:

  • English & Spanish - writing reading and speaking.
  • Bachelors degree in law or related field 8 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Experience in legal aspects of PMO projects
  • Experience in Government Contracts
  • Experience in Public Procurement cases
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently as well as with others
  • Experience of setting up an efficient and effective filling system for easy access by the Project team
  • Proficiency in MS Office and PM Document control systems
  • Good communication skills.
