Position Summary
The Front Office Manager serves as the face of Young Americas Foundation ensuring that all guests callers and staff are greeted with professionalism and warmth. This role maintains a well-organized welcoming front office environment that reflects YAFs values and commitment to excellence.
The ideal candidate will be proactive detail-oriented and able to manage multiple responsibilities with grace and efficiency. From overseeing the reception desk and coordinating mail and shipments to supporting internal operations the Front Office Manager plays a key role in the smooth functioning of daily office activities and in creating a positive first impression for all who engage with YAF.
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and direct all visitors staff supporters students and guests.
Answer and direct all phone calls (via Zoom phones) to appropriate staff members.
Manage all mail and deliveries including USPS UPS and FedEx.
Assist staff with shipments for off-site student and supporter events.
Support the COO with building and parking access for staff interns and guests including key fob and access card management.
Maintain office and mailing supply inventories.
Oversee YAFs storage units and track inventory across multiple locations.
Coordinate with property management on office needs cleaning services and maintenance.
Keep common areas supply rooms and meeting spaces organized and presentable.
Perform data entry as needed.
Coordinate in-office meals and catering for staff events.
Work with vendors for deliveries maintenance and office furniture/supply orders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Deep commitment to YAFs mission and programs.
Strong knowledge of conservative ideas and alignment with the Conservative Movement.
2 years of prior office management experience preferred.
Excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel and Mail Merge).
Familiarity with Zoom phone systems.
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM (or willingness to learn).
Reliable punctual self-motivated and adaptable.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move boxes and equipment up to 50 pounds.
Mobility to access office equipment file cabinets and storage areas.
Compensation & Details
Location: YAF National Headquarters Reston Virginia (in-office)
Start Date: December 2025
Salary: Based on experience and previous salary history.
