Job Summary
Position: Technical Specialist
Education: B.E/B. Tech/BSc/Graduation
Experience: 12 yrs
Location: Mumbai
Skills: Oracle10g/11g/12c/19c/23ai AWS/OCI Standby/dataguard RMAN Performance Tuning Database cloning GoldenGate Replication OEM RAC.
Job Functions:
At least 12yrs strong experience providing Oracle DBA support in a very large environment.
Strong customer handling experience and maintaining customer relations.
Deep hands-on experience on AWS/OCI
Troubleshooting all database-related issues to resolution.
Strong experience in installing upgrading and configuring the Enterprise Manager 13c
Cloud Control on various platforms with different types of installations
Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.
Monitoring and fine-tuning the databases/queries for optimal performance.
Ability to lead/own multiple projects concurrently and enthusiasm to learn new technologies.
Experience in performing database disaster recovery design and implementation.
Expert Level experience with Oracle 12c upgrades & migrations
Expert Level experience with Oracle Dataguard and Active Dataguard
Expert in database and system level tuning ability to review all Oracle and like system performance reports (AWR ADDM ASH Reports)
Working knowledge of Oracle Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)
Proficient with Monitoring Oracle Enterprise Monitoring (OEM)
Experience in implementation of Oracle partitioning table re-organization and redefinition.
Database capacity management including storage memory and CPU resources.
Database refresh and cloning methodologies.
Expert Level experience RAC.
Expert Level experience in Database upgrade and patching methodologies.
Data partitioning and archival.
Working knowledge of Oracle Goldengate
Proficient in Linux/Unix technical scripting and utilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and email and Instant Messenger (IM) etiquette.
