Job Summary
Job Description
The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking an Electrician to work at our processing facility in Lowville NY. Successful candidates must be willing to supply improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal individuals must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Available to work all shifts including second third weekends and holidays
- Prior manufacturing experience is preferred
- A Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous work experience in the electrical field. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are necessary. Must have the ability to perform accurate work have attention to detail and ability to function in a high performance work team.

- A $1.00 shift differential for second or and $1.25 shift differential for third shift.
Work Schedule:
Schedule is based on 7 days per week production.
Plant & Community Overview:
The Lowville plant produces the legendary Philadelphia Cream Cheese and Kraft String Cheese! Built in 1971 the facility is over 400000 square feet and houses 18 production lines. Milk and cream is supplied by local farms. With over 500 employees the plant is one of the largest employers in Lewis County.

- Troubleshooting and operating equipment to reduce downtime.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks on time as directed by maintenance planners.
- Participate in the installation startup procuring and debugging of equipment.
- Perform PLC HMI and Process Control responsibilities as well as knowledge of motor control centers.
- Perform general electrical duties such as installing conduit and wiring motors. Install and trouble shoot instrumentation.
- Support Plant Projects.
- Successfully complete all required periodic plant and job specific training.
- Participates as an active member in the PSM Team.
- It is the responsibility of all employees to adhere to all site rules and to all ways of working and processes and procedures within that role
- Position requires compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Timely Period Work completion.
- Ability to perform all sanitation duties.
- Team participation is required.
- All other duties as assigned.
