Job Summary

Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer
Location: Austin TX (4-5 days onsite required)
Duration: 12-18months

We are seeking an experiencedCitrix Engineerto help set up and configureCitrix with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Citrix infrastructure Azure integration and core Windows Server and networking fundamentals.

Qualifications:

6 years overall IT experience with at least 2 years hands-on with Citrix or Azure Virtual Desktop
Proven experience setting up or managingCitrix Virtual Apps and Desktops(on-prem or cloud).
Experience deploying or managingAzure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
Strong understanding ofWindows Server administration.
Working knowledge ofnetwork fundamentals routing firewall rules VPNs DNS etc.
Experience withCitrix Cloudpreferred.
Ability to work independently and deliver within project timelines.

Preferred Certifications:

Citrix Certified Associate Virtualization (CCAV)or higher
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140)

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy configure and testCitrix Virtual Apps and Desktopsin anAzure Virtual Desktopenvironment.
Set up and manageCitrix Cloudconnectors and integration with Azure resources.
Configurenetworking components including firewall rules subnets and VPNs to support secure connectivity.
Work withWindows Server(Active Directory DNS Group Policy file shares etc.).
Troubleshoot user access session performance and connectivity issues.
Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth implementation and handoff.
