Job Summary
Ingredion Inc. seeks Unit Manager Starch-LNP in Cedar Rapids IA
Job Duties: Serve as the gatekeeper for the coordination of maintenance activities in order to meet the production quality safety and environmental needs of the business. Utilize historical data to analyze and monitor key efficiencies and parameters against design to assist Operations with troubleshooting and meeting costs production goals and other unit Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Create the strategies and course corrections to optimize production. Assist in the training and coaching of operations personnel for both process design and operational techniques in order to maintain unit business objectives promote organizational strength and encourage individual growth within our organization. Monitor process conditions and operational activities strategizing and implementing corrective action as needed to ensure operation of the process in a cost-effective and efficient manner. Support and drive the continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence initiatives for the starch production. Evaluate current operations to find areas of waste duplication and frequent errors utilizing data gathered. Analyze this information to create the strategies and direction to lead the implementation and sustainability of a Continuous Improvement process which will ultimately support operational objectives through improved processes. Identify improvement margins for safety quality service and cost reduction to drive organizational effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Engineering (any field) Information Technology or closely related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) operations planning; (2) Power BI; (3) Visio; (4) SAP Ariba; (5) SAP HANA; (6) Data Governance; (7) Quality Assurance; (8) SAP SAMBA; (9) Procurement Fundamentals; (10) Data Analysis and Reporting. Any suitable combination of education training and experience is acceptable.

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
