Summary of the Role:

The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the company while ensuring that our data infrastructure scales alongside our rapid growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify gather design implement and optimize BI tools reports and dashboards that empower decision-makers with timely and accurate information. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of business analysis coupled with the ability to translate complex business and technology requirements into effective BI solutions and actionable insights.

Essential Functions:

• Data Management and Operations:

  • Maintain and manage data inputs into the data warehouse ensuring data quality security and performance.

  • Work with source systems data stewards to resolve any data quality issues and ensure consistency and reliability of key metrics.

  • Develop and maintain a centralized repository of business metrics for consistent reporting across the organization.

  • Conduct regular data quality audits to proactively identify anomalies inconsistencies and opportunities for data cleansing and improvement.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a data governance strategy policy and standards to ensure data compliance and integrity.

• Report and Dashboard Development:

  • Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g. Looker Tableau Power BI etc.) to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Customize and enhance existing reports to meet evolving business needs and improve data consumption.

  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis to answer specific business questions and provide context behind performance trends.

• Business Analysis:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translate ambiguous questions into concrete data requirements.

  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for BI solutions data models and new feature development.

  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity for business process optimization and growth through data analysis and present findings to management in a clear concise and compelling manner.

Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Analytics Mathematics Economics Finance Computer Science Information Science or related field.

• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst Data Analyst or similar role.

• Experience with Databricks desired.

• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Looker Tableau Power BI or similar.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
