Job Summary
Our GFL Emergency Response division is looking for a new Emergency Response Operator to join its team! We are looking for a responsible and reliable candidate to provide emergency response support for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Operation of all vehicles and equipment in a safe and proper manner.
Conduct daily Field Level Risk Assessments & Tailboards.
Abide by rules and requirements while on customers or GFL property.
Complete all necessary paperwork ex: FLRA Manifest BOLs ER Reports.
Equipment checks daily/weekly/monthly.
Maintain P.P.E inventory on ER trailers
Minor maintenance on equipment as required.
Attend meetings and training as required.
Compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Weekend work as scheduled or required.
Knowledge Skills and Competencies:
Valid AZ or ARZ(MT) License.
Confine Space Entry and Rescue Certificate.
HazMat Technician Level Training
WHIMIS/TDGA/ REG 347.
First Aid/CPR TRAINING.
Experience and strong knowledge of tractor trailers vacuum trucks tankers and roll off trucks.
Experience and strong knowledge of excavation equipment.
Demonstrates a safe operating record (clean CVOR).
No attendance or progressive discipline issues.
Effective communication skills.
