Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician who knows their way around heavy-duty equipment and takes pride in hands-on problem-solving. If you can diagnose repair and keep machines running safely and efficiently apply!
Shift: MondayFriday 6:00 AM2:30 PM
Pay: $30/hr DOE
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair diesel engines drivetrains and electrical systems on forklifts loaders balers and trucks.
Perform preventive maintenance: oil changes brakes filters hoses and belts.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using diagnostic tools (scan tools multimeters).
Inspect and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Perform light welding and fabrication on brackets guards and fittings.
Keep accurate maintenance and repair records.
Uphold shop safety standards and maintain a clean organized workspace.
What You Bring
Proven experience maintaining or repairing diesel automotive or industrial equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
Skilled with hand tools diagnostic equipment and hydraulic systems.
Ability to weld or fabricate basic components (a plus).
Dependable detail-oriented and safety-focused.
Able to work independently or as part of a team.
Maybe You Have:
Hands-on experience with both light and heavy-duty vehicles or equipment.
Exposure to fabrication hydraulic or plumbing systems.
Comfort following preventive maintenance routines and shop safety procedures.
A knack for troubleshooting and finding practical fixes.
Work Environment
Mix of indoor and outdoor work on a variety of equipment.
Requires lifting up to 50 lbs. and regular bending reaching and twisting.
Tools provided; bring your personal hand tools.
