About the Role

As a Network Operations Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing DXCs network infrastructure to ensure high availability performance and security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor troubleshoot and resolve network issues implement upgrades and support strategic initiatives across the enterprise.

Essential Job Functions

• Monitor and manage network performance availability and reliability across global infrastructure.

• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents outages and degradations in a timely manner.

• Configure and maintain routers switches firewalls and other network devices.

• Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement network changes and upgrades.

• Maintain documentation of network architecture configurations and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.

• 3 years of experience in network operations or network engineering.

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN and routing protocols (BGP OSPF).

• Experience with Cisco Juniper or similar network platforms.

• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds Nagios Wireshark).

Other Qualifications

• Certifications such as CCNA CCNP or equivalent are a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
