The Opportunity
This position works out of our Pleasanton CA location in the Heart Failure Abbotts Heart Failure (HF) business were developing solutions to diagnose monitor and manage heart failure allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
Join our team and help develop a modern Software as a Service (SaaS) Worldwide platform that supports clinicians clinics patients globally. Youll work on a large-scale Cloud-native system contributing to the health and well-being of people living with Heart Failure.
What Youll Work On
Build and maintain responsive web applications using Angular TypeScript HTML and CSS
Develop frontend components that integrate backend services and RESTful APIs
Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences
Write clean maintainable and testable code following best practices
Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning stand-ups and code reviews
Optimize application performance and ensure accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
Contribute to documentation and design discussions
Apply knowledge from academic projects and coursework to solve real-world problems
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
Completed relevant coursework such as:
Web/ Full Stack Development
Data Structures and Algorithms
Software Engineering
Database Systems
Hands-on experience with Angular/React through college projects or internships
Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and core web technologies
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services
Eagerness to learn and grow as a software engineer
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
Basic understanding of version control systems like Git/Github/Bitbucket
Exposure to testing frameworks like Jasmine Karma or Cypress
Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design
Understanding of agile development practices
