Position Summary: The Controller supports Opportunity Resource Funds mission by overseeing the activities of the day to day operations of the Finance Department and the maintenance of accurate and complete accounting records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The Controller monitors organizational internal controls and business processes/systems performs full cycle payroll and manages financial compliance and audit reporting. Additionally the Controller serves as a key member of the Management Team supporting strategic initiatives process improvements and team member development to further OppFunds goals.
Compensation & Benefits: $95000 - $110000 Full-time Salary Exempt

Education: Masters degree in Business Accounting or Finance with at least five years of comparable experience or Bachelors degree with seven years of similar experience.
Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead inspire and develop high-performing teams. Previous supervisory or management experience is required. Demonstrates a proactive year-round approach to financial management internal controls and compliance with a clean audit track record. Previous experience with generally accepted accounting practices (GAAP) and proper internal controls as well as experience in performing a wide array of accounting functions.
Other Requirements: Demonstrated leadership in the management of complex and dynamic organizations as well as broad exposure to fiscal management. Demonstrated ability to build and foster relationships. Knowledge of the communities OppFund serves and a commitment to diversity equity inclusion and belonging. Strong mathematical and financial analysis acumen. Demonstrates a high level of follow through is detail oriented thorough inquisitive confident organized and results driven.
