About the Role
We are seeking a results-oriented and strategic Vice President of Manufacturing to lead our production and operations teams in delivering the highest standards of quality efficiency and innovation. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with deep experience in large-scale manufacturing process optimization and operational excellence. You will oversee all aspects of production engineering and quality controlensuring that VersaDesk maintains its reputation for precision-built American-made products that define the modern workspace.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations including production planning scheduling quality assurance and safety compliance
- Design implement and maintain a multi-step quality assurance system that ensures product consistency and adherence to quality standards across all production stages
- Develop and enforce ISO-compliant quality management practices (preferably ISO 9001) to support certification and continuous improvement efforts
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency reduce waste and optimize production flow across all facilities
- Lead and mentor manufacturing engineering and quality teams to achieve performance and growth objectives
- Ensure production goals align with company sales forecasts and customer delivery timelines
- Manage capital investments equipment upgrades and process improvements to support company scalability
- Drive lean manufacturing initiatives Six Sigma practices and continuous improvement programs
- Collaborate with supply chain logistics and design teams to ensure smooth coordination from production to shipment
- Uphold VersaDesks commitment to product quality operational integrity and workplace safety
- Present operational performance metrics cost analyses and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or operations management
- Bachelors degree required preferably in Engineering Industrial Management or Organizational Management
- Proven track record of leading large-scale production teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Strong background in process improvement lean manufacturing and cost reduction initiatives
- Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems
- Excellent leadership analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to management
- Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and foster a culture of accountability and innovation
- Experience in furniture industrial equipment or related manufacturing industries is highly preferred
