DevOps Engineer 12-Month Consulting Assignment (Hybrid Oslo)

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer for a 12-month consulting engagement in Oslo Norway with the possibility of extension. The role is central to supporting our clients ongoing digital transformation and ensuring high system reliability in a complex fast-paced environment.

About the Client

Our client is a global leader in digital transformation delivering innovative technology solutions across banking healthcare retail and industrial sectors. They are known for combining innovation scale and security to deliver measurable impact through technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Ensure system reliability availability and performance across environments
• Provide production support and handle incidents proactively
• Work closely with development QA and operations teams to improve delivery efficiency
• Manage and optimize cloud/on-premises infrastructure for cost security and scalability

Required Skills & Experience

• Norwegian citizenship (mandatory)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems and scripting (Bash Python)
• Strong background in production support and incident management
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or Azure DevOps
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)
• Working knowledge of Terraform Ansible or Chef
