Job Summary

Print PE film for production of the plastic bags for millions of FDA approved breads tortillas potatoes and moreWe pride ourselves on qualityResponsibilities:Must oversee press assistant and direct in completing responsibilities and trainingSet up and run various types of printing jobs including line and processSet impression and register on 8-color wide web sleeved gearless pressesTroubleshoot print problemsAdjust press to maximize run speedProduce quality printFollow directions written and verbalLoad and unload print sleeves from press and storage racksLoad and unload rolls of material from pressCheck ink viscosity every 10-15 minutesTone inks to required PMS number as neededClean print stations and ink pumpsPerform preventive maintenance as scheduledComplete production paperworkPerform quality checks on printed rolls and save retainsResponsible for the condition of press and work areaMaintain housekeeping standardsWork safely at all timesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent5 years of previous experience in the operation of wide web flexographic printing presses (8 colors with 52 web including automatic washing system)Working knowledge of solvent-based ink system and ability to formulate and match colorsMust have worked extensively with polyethylene filmNeed process printing experienceAble to lift up to 75 dependableHave the ability to understand and carry out directionGood mechanical aptitudeMust be able to read and write EnglishUse measuring devices and have basic math skillsExperience in using material handling equipmentAble to keep work area clean and neatWilling to work overtime including weekendsBe a TEAM PLAYERThe listed responsibilities are what a typical day entails you may be asked to do more than the listed responsibilities and are obligated to do so when reserves the right to amend the list of responsibilities and qualifications as the companys needs may growing company including health dental vision insurance paid holidays and vacation and 401(k)Generous relocation allowance as well
