Job Summary

Role Description/Summary

This position is responsible for receiving feed ingredients operating feed grinding and mixing equipment and ensuring

the accuracy of feed batches while maintaining compliance with all company policies and governmental regulations.

Essential Job Functions Must be able to perform these tasks with or without reasonable accommodations.

1. Follow Mill start-up procedures including starting computers preparing scales tickets oil valves compressor

ingredient amounts warming up machines starting the transfer and grinder and micro-bins

2. Batch feed according to feed order

3. Receive trucks and route ingredients to assigned locations

4. Take samples create sample bags label sample bags with correct information

5. Maintain accurate paperwork and computer logs related to receiving and batching

6. Maintain the feed mill and warehouse by keeping it organized cleaning servicing parts and any other types of

preventative maintenance

7. Maintain and refill product in the micro-bins

8. Check ingredient levels to ensure accurate inventory is maintained

Other Responsibilities

1. Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

1. Ability to learn and operate computer programs related to feed milling ingredient receiving and product load out

2. Read write and speak in English

3. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude

4. Must demonstrate good work ethic
