Shift: 12-hr Days/Nights
Job Type: Permanent
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Oncology RN to join our team. The RN will provide care and treatment to ill injured and recovering adults within our patient-centered care model. This role requires the ability to make clinical assessments and manage patient care autonomously. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team dedicated to delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health and situation.
- Advocate for patients as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or identify patient issues.
- Develop individualized care plans and identify expected patient outcomes.
- Act as a patient safety advocate.
- Ensure effective and efficient use of time supplies and equipment.
- Educate patients and families regarding medications procedures and treatments providing support throughout their care journey.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (Acute care experience is strongly preferred; LTAC experience will be considered).
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start.
- Current BLS required.
- Current ACLS preferred; required within 6 months of hire.
- BSN preferred.
