Advantra is hiring a Project Manager II (Technical Program Manager) to lead multiple technology migration projects for a global financial services client in Phoenix. The role requires strong coordination planning and execution capabilities across complex systems and multiple engineering teams.
About the role
You will manage two concurrent modernization initiatives - Del Clerity uplift and AMP Migration - ensuring end-to-end execution across environments from pre-production validation through post-production rollout. This role will interface closely with engineering infrastructure and business stakeholders to maintain progress mitigate risks and ensure alignment with overall modernization goals.
Responsibilities

Lead and manage large-scale tech migration projects across multiple cross-functional teams.

Oversee project planning timelines dependencies and deliverables for both Del Clerity uplift and AMP Migration efforts.

Coordinate testing validation and deployment activities across pre-production and production environments.

Track and manage risks issues and mitigation plans.
-
Facilitate regular status updates executive reporting and stakeholder communication.
-
Work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure migration readiness.

Ensure compliance with organizational standards controls and release processes.

Support post-production monitoring and stabilization activities.

Partner with product owners and architecture teams to align migration scope and priorities.

Drive continuous improvement in migration processes and delivery practices.
Core requirements
-
8 years of experience in project or program management within technology or engineering organizations.

Strong background in managing complex application or infrastructure migration projects.

Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams and dependencies.

Experience with cloud modernization or large-scale system migrations preferred.

Strong understanding of pre-production testing deployment and release management processes.
-
Excellent communication stakeholder management and organizational skills.
-
Proficiency with project tracking tools such as Jira Rally or MS Project.

Experience in financial services or highly regulated enterprise environments is a plus.

Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field.
Nice to have

Experience with authorization or point-of-sale systems.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure).

PMP or Agile/Scrum certification.

Hands-on technical understanding of infrastructure or middleware migrations.

Experience supporting modernization programs with multiple integrated workstreams.
