The Aveva Administrator is a member of the engineering solutions team belonging to the IT ITE (Information Technology Engineering) department.
Based at SMS India this position will reinforce the local team and participate to improve and support the different Aveva modules across the company. You will be encouraged to share your ideas and be a strong member in the continuous improvement of the engineering applications and their associated process and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Project execution with focus on 3D modeling in collaboration with project team internal and external partners.
- Manage user accounts roles and permissions across Aveva modules (E3D Engineering Diagram) ensuring secure and efficient access control.
- Responsible for defining coordinating performing the set-up and customization of Aveva application to meet project-specific requirements and enhance engineering workflows.
- Development of CAD tools to define the standard procedures guidelines and catalogue maintenance to improve plant engineering environment.
- Responsible for the day-to-day user support for Aveva modules analyzing and resolving technical issues to maintain operational continuity.
- Monitor ongoing projects to ensure functional integrity and efficient performance.
- Deliver training sessions for the end users and create comprehensive user manuals.
- Coordination with the project team IT expert users developers to provide business solutions.
- Controlling and executing tool development including preparation of requirement specification tool selection development support coordinate Tool migration / rollout.
Technical Skills Set
- Proven experience in Oil & Gas Power or Industrial sectors with strong understanding of engineering workflows and project execution.
- Advance proficiency in Aveva administration skilled in Navisworks and other related applications
- Hands-on experience with Aveva PML or scripting. Sound understanding of SQL database
- Familiarity with applications like Creo Inventor Tekla and AutoCAD plant 3D considered valuable assets for multidisciplinary coordination.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
