Job Title: Business Systems Analyst
Location: Hybrid 3 days onsite / 2 days remote (U.S.)

About the Role
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for delivering high-quality systems design business requirements and business cases that drive operational efficiency and productivity. This individual will collaborate across departments working closely with business managers and IT teams to design test and implement technology solutions that enhance business candidates will have hands-on experience in core distribution processes such as Sales to Cash Procure to Pay Accounting (AP/AR) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) - with exposure to tools such as JD Edwards (ERP) and JDA/BlueYonder (WMS).
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Requirements (20%)
- Gather analyze and prioritize business requirements from key stakeholders.
- Conduct interviews and document existing system workflows and data flows.
- Develop clear business process documentation and translate needs into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with business consultants to develop business cases and justification documents.
- Estimate costs and resources for enhancement requests.
2. Business Solutions Design (15%)
- Identify potential technical and business solutions ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop logical innovative solutions to complex problems and present proposals to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with architects and development teams to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
- Address process inefficiencies and propose system improvements.
3. Business Solutions Testing (20%)
- Develop and execute testing schedules plans and business use cases.
- Conduct system and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Coordinate release schedules and ensure system changes are well-tested and documented.
- Provide feedback on new features and technology updates.
4. User Training & Support (35%)
- Create user manuals and training materials to streamline adoption of new systems or enhancements.
- Conduct end-user training sessions and provide ongoing support.
5. Resource Management (10%)
- Coordinate cross-functional team activities scheduling and prioritization.
- Mentor and train team members in process standards and best practices.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and performance reviews.
6. Additional Responsibilities
- Adhere to IT standards methodologies (QA SDLC PMLC) and governance processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet evolving business and organizational needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8 years of systems design analysis and testing experience including leadership exposure.
- Proven experience with core distribution business processes: Sales to Cash Procure to Pay Accounting (AP/AR) and Warehouse Management.
- Experience working with ERP and WMS systems (JD Edwards JDA/BlueYonder preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of business workflows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (< 10%).
Education
- Associate degree or equivalent technical training required.
- Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems or a related field preferred.
Technical & Business Competencies
Technical Expertise:
- Application Configuration Management ITIL Incident Management Automated Testing Tools.
Proficient In:
- Application Integration Data Transport Information Security User Interface Design Packaged Software General Office Tools.
- Business Expertise:
- Requirements Definition Project Management (PMM) Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Risk Management and Technical Writing.
