Title: Sr Financial Analyst

Job Description:
- Analyze variances between actual and budgeted expenses to identify areas for cost savings.
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements for the G&A department. These financial statements summarize the G&A departments financial performance over a specific period of time.
- Create financial reports and presentations to communicate financial results to senior management. Senior Financial Analysts take the data they analyze and turn it into presentations that clearly explain the G&A departments financial health to senior managers.
- Support the budgeting process by developing and maintaining G&A department budgets. They play a key role in creating and maintaining the budget for the G&A department which outlines how much money the department can spend in each area.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support various business initiatives. Beyond their regular duties G&A Senior Financial Analysts may be asked to do special analysis projects to support different business needs.
- Stay up-to-date on accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting. The financial data they analyze and report on needs to be accurate so staying up-to-date on the latest accounting rules is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends variances and potential areas for cost savings and improvement.
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements according to GAAP standards.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue expenses and cash flow.
- Create clear and concise financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Support the budgeting process by developing and maintaining accurate financial budgets for assigned areas.
- Participate in month-end close processes ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support various business initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on accounting policies and best practices to ensure adherence to all financial reporting regulations.
- Partner with other departments such as Legal Facilities and HR to provide financial guidance and support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior financial analyst role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g. Excel) and accounting systems (e.g. Netsuite or Adaptive).
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
