Duties & Responsibilities
Our client in the retail industry is seeking an IT Desktop Support Technician to join their team. You will be responsible for providing desktop support for users including hardware software printers cabling and operating systems managing desk tickets etc monitor and troubleshoot store level backups record and track liaise with all staff.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Must have:
Grade 12 plus certifications such as A N or MCDST (or working toward them).
- At least 5 years hands-on experience in desktop support and service desk environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS (201011) and Windows Server (201222).
- Experience with backup software (Veeam) remote support and hardware troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of networks Citrix and cabling.
- Excellent troubleshooting communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to provide after-hours and remote support when required.
