Job Summary

Contract Type: Temporary Short-Notice Assignments Project Dependent

Our client a leader in dewatering solutions is seeking reliable and safety-conscious Pump Attendants to join our temporary workforce pool. The successful candidates will be deployed to various sites to monitor and support pump operations during dewatering activities ensuring equipment runs efficiently and safely.

Duties & Responsibilities

Monitor dewatering pumps on-site to ensure continuous operation
Conduct basic inspections of pipes hoses cables and equipment
Report faults stoppages leaks or safety risks immediately
Assist with simple maintenance such as clearing blockages and debris
Check and record fuel levels water flow and pump running hours
Support start-up shut-down and relocation of pumps where required
Maintain housekeeping around pump area to prevent hazards
Comply with safety standards PPE requirements and site rules

Requirements

Matric
Drivers Licence essential
Previous pump or construction site experience is advantageous
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify irregularities
Willingness to work shifts nights weekends and remote areas
Reliable transport to and from site
Strong communication and reporting skills
