Key Responsibilities:
- Handle bookkeeping to balance sheet ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Oversee and manage USA accounting functions staying compliant with USA tax legislation and financial standards
- Manage US Dollar transactions currency exchangeand international payments like a pro
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports analysing trends and turning insights into strategy
- Partner with cross-functional teams (finance operations HR) to ensure smooth and compliant financial processes
- Conduct cash flow forecasting and analysis to support business performance
- Oversee monthly payroll and provide HR support as needed
- Assist with financial statements and internal / external audits
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom in Accounting or Finance OR a newly qualified CA(SA)
- 3 to 5 years hands-on experience in USA accounting and bookkeeping or strong exposure to US Dollar transactions currency management and tax legislation
- Solid understanding of USA accounting practices tax compliance and multi-currency financials
- Experience with Sage
- Analytical detail-obsessed and confident communicating across global teams
- A true finance all-rounder not just an Auditor. You roll up your sleeves and make things happen
