Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Matric
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a dealership environment with at least 3 years in a Used Vehicle Sales Management role
  • Proven track record in achieving sales and gross profit targets
  • Strong leadership communication and negotiation skills
  • Solid understanding of vehicle valuations reconditioning processes and retail trends
  • Excellent customer service orientation and business acumen
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a high-performing team
  • Valid drivers license and clear criminal record

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the used vehicle sales department ensuring profitability customer satisfaction and the achievement of monthly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate the used vehicle sales team to achieve and exceed sales objectives
  • Implement effective sales strategies and marketing plans to drive stock turnover
  • Oversee vehicle valuations trade-ins and pricing to ensure profitability
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers suppliers and internal departments
  • Monitor stock levels aging and market trends to ensure optimal inventory management
  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies standards and financial processes
  • Provide training guidance and performance feedback to sales executives
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management
