PwC has recently launched the South African Technology & Innovation Centre (SATIC) designed to innovate build and deploy solutions for our global clients across a range of technology and transformational needs. We are seeking candidates that have experience in overseeing and managing the delivery of data and insights solutions to clients. Ideal candidates must have backgrounds in managing a team of data analysts and insights professionals.Enhancing your leadership style you motivate develop and inspire others to deliver quality. This is a key role within our Data & Insights team within Integrated Services. We are looking for a manager to work acrossa number ofour stakeholder groups to drive efficiencies removeduplicationand build new tools to drive greater insights. This is an exciting time to join an evolving team to drivethe dataanalytics transformation.
Qualifications /Certifications required:
University degree in an analytical or relatedfield
Professional certifications in relevant analytical tools or platforms
Power BI Certification (preferred)
Databricks Certification (a bonus)
Experience required:
Experience with data transformation andvisualisationtools (e.g.e.g.Alteryx
PowerBI SQL Python Databricks)
Previous analytical experience in a professionalenvironment;
Line managementexperience;
Strong project management skills/experience;
The ability to review and critically assess processes working with colleagues
to drivechange;
The ability to work effectively in the face of pressure and not compromise
professionalstandards;
The ability to work within a team andestablishstrong working relationships
with otherteams;
Strong communication skillsparticularly the ability to troubleshoot
complex problems and articulate resolutions withclarity;

Preferred
Knowledge of GDPR and Compliance regulations

Responsibilities of role:
This role will require strong project and stakeholder managementskillsand the candidate willrequirean intermediate/advanced knowledge of analytics/data modelling/business intelligence tools.
This role will entail (non-exhaustive list):
Working with key stakeholders across Business Solutions to understand data
and analyticsrequirements;
Negotiate and influence stakeholdersin regards torequirements gathering
return on investment and project timelines
Working with the Tech Central Data Intelligence team to driveefficiencies
and improve current offering
Building effective solutions using a range of data transformation/analytic
tools in response to stakeholder feedback
Project manage work from creation to implementation ensuring deadlines
are met
Working across the whole Data & Insights team (including governance and
data lifecycle) to ensure teams and current andnew solutionsare aligned
and compliant with regulations
Driving the consolidation of reportinginsightsand dashboards across a
variety of stakeholder groups
Supporting and providing advice to the stakeholders across Business
Solutions
Upskilling junior members of staff in data transformation and analytics tools
Applying an agile mindsetdemonstratingflexibility to quickly shift priorities
of focus to support the extended Data & Insights team
Managing and coaching junior members of the team to ensure projects are
progressing and to have oversight of the pipeline of work and team priorities
Line managing and supporting the team of data analysts.
Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to the team of data analysts ensuring alignment with project goals and organizational priorities.
Manage performance development and wellbeing of team members through regular check-ins feedback sessions and career development planning.
Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture encouraging innovation continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
Desirable skill setsinclude:
Demonstrable experience of working on multiple engagements and managing your time effectively.
Experience in delivering high quality work to tight deadlines.
