Job Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
ENVIRONMENT:
A rapidly expanding FinTech company is seeking a qualified Accountant with a Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related discipline along with proven experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will provide essential support to the Finance Manager and broader finance team contributing to financial operations across multiple legal entities.
DUTIES:
Monthly and weekly management account reporting.
Production of monthly bordereaux to insurers.
Accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Preparing weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
Reviewing and approving invoices.
Processing and paying supplier invoices.
Daily bookkeeping tasks.
Assist with implementing and maintaining financial controls and processes.
Preparation of annual budgets.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in finance accounting or a related field.
3 - 5 years of relevant working experience.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office and experience working with Xero accounting software (QuickBooks experience also advantageous).
ATTRIBUTES:
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and be self-managed.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
