Key Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of cheese production from milk intake to packaging and dispatch.
Lead motivate and develop production staff to achieve operational excellence.
Ensure full compliance with
Health Safety Environmental and Food Quality standards.
Manage production planning resource allocation and workflow to meet delivery schedules.
Drive continuous improvement waste reduction and efficiency initiatives.
Monitor and report on KPIs related to productivity quality and cost control.
Collaborate with Maintenance Quality Assurance and Supply Chain teams.
Requirements:Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Food Technology Production Management or Engineering).
Minimum 5 years experience in a
production management role preferably in dairy or food manufacturing.
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
Proven track record of managing teams of 50 people.
Sound understanding of
HACCP ISO and Occupational Health & Safety standards.
Hands-on proactive approach with attention to detail.
