About the Role
On behalf of our client a multinational biopharmaceutics company focused on advancing innovation in vaccines and immunology they are looking for a Head of Franchise to lead the commercial and strategic direction of the Vaccines & Immunology Business Unit in Vietnam. The role is responsible for developing and executing portfolio strategies that drive sustainable growth and profitability while ensuring strong cross-functional alignment across all key business functions
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and commercial leadership for the vaccines portfolio ensuring profitable growth and long-term business sustainability.
Formulate and implement data- and science-driven portfolio plans aligned with public health objectives to strengthen market position.
Engage key stakeholders (Government & Payers) to ensure optimal product positioning and patient access.
Lead cross-functional coordination with Medical Regulatory Market Access and Supply Chain teams to ensure flawless product introductions and post-launch
Champion patient-centric innovation and ensure relevance across commercialization and marketing initiatives.
Oversee sales force deployment and ensure alignment with commercial objectives.
Manage inventory and resources in line with policy and business plans.
Ensure compliance and ethical business conduct to safeguard reputation and uphold industry standards.
Manage diverse strategic initiatives with adaptability and focus in a rapidly evolving environment.
Build and develop high-performing teams fostering leadership capabilities and succession planning.
Requirements
Must have
University degree in Pharmacy Medicine Life Sciences or another relevant discipline; an advanced qualification such as an MBA is a plus.
Proven track record in Sales and Marketing leadership (5 years) with success in launching and expanding pharmaceutical or vaccine portfolios.
In-depth understanding of the vaccines field including immunology infectious diseases and public health dynamics.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as Medical Regulatory Market Access and Supply Chain to achieve shared objectives.
Strong capability to build influence and manage relationships across a wide network of stakeholders (government health authorities payers healthcare professionals).
Strong leadership communication presentation negotiation and budget oversight skills.
Highly developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills with agility and resilience to perform under pressure.
Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and drive sound business decisions.
Proficiency in English both spoken and written.
Nice-to-have
Enterprise mindset with strong strategic thinking and patient-centric approach.
Ability to collaborate effectively across hierarchies and functions in a complex matrix organization.
Strong understanding of the public healthcare channel and its operational landscape.
