Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced6G Fitter Welder for Towersto join our welding division. This position specializes in welding for heating and cooling tower projects requiring precise 6G welds and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. The6G Fitter Welder for Towerswill play a critical role in ensuring all welded joints meet industry strength and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform6G weldingon carbon steel stainless steel and alloy pipe.
Complete spool fabrication assembly and welding tasks per project requirements.
Ensure welds meet or exceed industry codes and specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Use a variety of welding processes including MIG TIG and Stick as needed.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean hazard-free work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a6G Fitter Welder for Towersor in similar 6G pipe welding roles.
Ability to pass the required6G MIG and Fluxcore pipe test(Schedule 160).
Strong understanding of welding codes quality control standards and inspection requirements.
Must be able to work long shifts and overtime when needed.
Excellent blueprint reading and layout skills.
Reliable safety-focused and detail-oriented.
