Registered Dietitian Position - Part-time/Hybrid (70% Remote)

Join our dynamic team at RD Nutrition Consultants LLC a leading Dietitian Nutritionist Consulting firm providing expert services to healthcare facilities nationwide. We are currently looking for a passionate Registered Dietitian to be a part of our growing team for a hybrid position in the area. Enjoy the flexibility of both remote and onsite work with a schedule tailored to meet your needs.

Position Type: Community-based geriatric care

Work Schedule: 6-9 hrs per week (70% Remote); Monday-Friday during normal business hours

Flexibility: Choose your days and hours. Only 1 onsite visits required per month remaining hours are completed remotely via telehealth.

Compensation: $30.00-38.00 per hour depending on experience. Compensation also includes travel pay at the hourly rate for time traveled to and from the facility as well as mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans that consider participants medical conditions cultural preferences and dietary needs.
Provide education and counseling on nutrition healthy eating habits and managing chronic diseases through diet.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on the interdisciplinary team to ensure participants receive coordinated care.
Monitor participants nutritional status and make adjustments to their plans as needed.
Document all care provided.
Adheres to all facility policy and procedure.
Performs necessary organizational and administrative duties

Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Dietetics Nutrition or a related field from an accredited program.
Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Current state licensure/certification (if mandated by the state)
Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred).
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients families and healthcare teams.
Possesses the ability to apply critical thinking to a variety of situations assess objectives develop and implement and monitor effective plans for improvement.
Proficiency in providing general nutrition interventions.
Familiarity with state survey processes and adhering to nutrition care regulations
Competency in electronic charting systems
